Delinea works with Microsoft on cyber security solutions with artificial intelligence

Delinea, a leading provider of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, has entered the Microsoft Security Copilot Partner Private Preview program. The Australian and Singaporean company was selected for its solid experience with Microsoft Security technologies, willingness to test and offer feedback on feature development, and strong partnership with Microsoft.

Microsoft’s vice president of security business development, Ann Johnson, emphasized the role of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity. “AI is one of the defining technologies of our time and has the potential to drive meaningful advances in cybersecurity. Security is a team sport, and we’re excited to work with our partner ecosystem, Security Copilot, to deliver solutions to customers that improve cyber defense and deliver on the promise artificial intelligence for real,” Johnson said.

Delinea’s partnership role includes working with Microsoft product teams to develop Security Copilot. The firm will be instrumental in validating and refining new and upcoming scenarios, providing feedback to product development and operations for future integrations, and validating API feedback for Security Copilot extensibility.

Bob Janssen, Global Chief Innovation Officer at Delinea, talked about integrating artificial intelligence for more robust cybersecurity. “Integrating artificial intelligence is a necessary commitment for our customers as they strengthen their cyber resilience. Our commitment to AI-based cybersecurity is focused on creating a future where security is as intelligent and dynamic as the threats they face,” said Janssen. He added that Delinea’s association with Microsoft makes it a strategic security partner that seamlessly bridges PAM into the Microsoft Security Copilot ecosystem.

Microsoft Security Copilot is the first AI-powered security product that enables security professionals to respond quickly to threats, analyze signals at machine speed, and assess risk exposure in minutes. It combines a cutting-edge language model (LLM) with a security-specific model driven by Microsoft’s unique global threat intelligence and more than 65 trillion daily signals.

With this ground-breaking technology, Delinea aims to effectively automate Privileged Access Management using AI, providing enhanced protection to both clients and businesses. The company operates to define access boundaries for thousands of global customers, from small businesses to large financial institutions, intelligence agencies and critical infrastructure companies.
