Lancia is getting ready for the show redesigned Ypsilon in February, but several undisguised photos have surfaced online.

The model follows suit Pu+Ra HPE concept and has a thick black belt with “LANCIA” written on it. They are connected by slim LED lighting strips and low-mounted headlights. We can also see vertical air screens and a wide central intake.

The rear is relatively tame in comparison, but the model has circular taillights with Y-shaped elements. They are joined by a black stripe that seems designed to mirror the one at the front. Other details are hard to find out, but Ypsilonka it has a small rear spoiler and a rounded rear window.

Spy photographers have already had a look inside and the car will feature a digital instrument panel as well as a the new SALA infotainment system. We can also expect a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a tray table and a lighted ball that gives off an Amazon Echo vibe.

Lancia is slowly teasing the model, but has already confirmed that the Ypsilon will be offered with hybrid and electric powertrains. Specifics are hazy, but rumors have suggested that the electric variant could have a lot in common with the Jeep Avenger and Peugeot e-208. If that’s the case, we can expect a 154 hp (115 kW / 156 hp) engine and a 54 kWh battery that will provide a range of around 248 miles (400 km).
